Several of the techniques that Jimmy Ellis and SGS PfiNDE, Inc. routinely perform are manual techniques that are also considered advanced techniques. As those techniques are generally manual techniques they are not the focus here. Those techniques are addressed in the Applications section.

  • Multi-channel automated UT.  Automated FAST is available. See image below.
  • Multi-channel automated UT. Though several options are available,
    the most useful set up used to date is Automated FAST in conjunction with TOFD
  • Laser scanning and 3D modeling of external defects
